Vienna, Austria's elegant capital, lies just two hundred kilometers from Budapest — a perfect destination for a full-day private excursion. In a single day, you can explore the city of imperial palaces, baroque squares, and vibrant café culture, in a comfortable, air-conditioned car, at your own pace, with no public transport and no group schedule. The tour is primarily designed for groups of 4–12 people (families, groups of friends, corporate groups), but individual travelers are welcome as well.
Travel from Budapest to Vienna
The journey from Budapest to Vienna follows a comfortable highway route and takes about 2.5 hours. Our driver adapts flexibly to your departure time, so you can spend as much time as possible in the city.
Practical note: although Hungary and Austria are both Schengen countries and routine border checks don't take place, all travelers are required to carry a valid ID card or passport during the trip.
Schönbrunn Palace and Gardens
Recommended time: about 2 hours
The tour's first stop is Schönbrunn Palace, the former summer residence of the Habsburg dynasty and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Main sights:
- Schönbrunn Palace – a Baroque imperial palace with lavish interior halls.

The Ringstrasse Boulevard

The Ringstrasse is a 19th-century boulevard encircling the Old Town, lined with Vienna's most important public buildings.

- Vienna City Hall (Rathaus) – a neo-Gothic building with an ornate tower.
- Parliament Building – built in Greek Neoclassical style, with a columned façade.
- Burgtheater and the University of Vienna – other notable buildings along the boulevard.
Café Culture and Free Time

Vienna's café culture is part of the UNESCO Intangible Cultural Heritage list. During this part of the tour, you'll have the chance to visit a traditional coffeehouse (such as Café Central or Café Sacher) and try the famous Sacher torte.
Return to Budapest
To close out the day, our driver will comfortably take you back to Budapest, a journey of around 2.5 hours.
